SoundLife is Los Angeles’ only fully immersive music program, providing both in-home lessons and exciting on-stage experiences.
The SoundLife Philosophy
We use a student-led, teacher-guided approach. This means we meet students where they are in their musical journey, with an experience tailored to their individual interests. Our job is to help guide and develop those interests, which creates an engaging and rewarding experience for every student.
We know that students become empowered by learning tangible skills they can share with their peers. Kids need support to grow, and building a community is the key to keeping the learning process exciting and instilling real, true confidence. Our curriculum is unique in that we are the only Los Angeles based music program offering private in-home lessons with professional musicians, and a strong musical community which all students are invited and encouraged to take part in. All lesson packages are accompanied by supplemental between-lesson support, plenty of opportunities to connect and jam with other students and bands, and live showcases and concerts where they can rock the stage at nationally recognized venues.
At SoundLife, we see the Musical Journey as more than just learning how to play an instrument. We break it down into five basic stages, which correspond to the programs we offer. From building initial skills all the way to inspiring others by sharing those skills, our Five Stage Program represents a well-rounded and fully engaging musical education that encompasses the total experience. With this approach we can tailor the program to each and every individual student’s experience level, regardless of where they may be in their own personal musical journey.

It’s about being genuinely passionate about something and having a blast while you learn discipline, concentration, and social skills.
We understand the importance of fun!
We love playing music, and we want our students to love it too. Our teachers know that to capture the imaginations of kids in today’s busy world, any activity they dedicate time to has also got to be fun. We teach kids what speaks to them, and our immersive program gets them out of their shells and out of their homes by providing opportunities at every turn for them to feel like the rock stars that they are!
Lesson Packages

At the heart of our fully immersive music program are customized private lessons based on a student’s personal musical tastes and goals. SoundLife delivers a revolutionary music lesson experience on whichever popular instrument is the student’s jam: Guitar, Drums, Bass, Keyboard & Piano, and Voice. Our teachers are skilled professional musicians with a passion to share their knowledge and experience.
SoundLife Socials
Our Jams are the perfect opportunity for kids to meet other players, practice and improve on lesson materials, and play in a fun and social band setting.

Band Coaching
Whether they already have a band or want to start a new one, we help students take their show to the next level.
Our Band Coaches are musicians who have performed on stages around the world, and they’ve got knowledge and experience to share. Any student can learn and perfect their musicianship, stage presence, performance etiquette, and build a killer set list. The possibilities are endless when a great coach has your back.
Showcases
We empower kids by giving them the opportunity to express their creative voice on stage in a real gig setting and build real, lasting confidence.
Our Student Showcases are live concert experiences that give students the opportunity to look, feel, and sound like rock stars on stage at their very own gig. Students can perform individually, with their band, or with our house band of professional session musicians—whichever way you slice it, this isn’t your typical stuffy music recital.
Songwriting
Students will find and develop their unique voice, and create their own songs according to their personal musical tastes and goals.
Songwriting is one of the most powerful self-expression tools that a musician can master. SoundLife offers a full songwriting program with writing and recording professionals who have worked with artists of all styles. Our expert teachers help budding artists and songwriters develop their own unique songwriting style.
Recording
We help students harness their full potential through one-on-one lessons with writing and recording professionals.
With recording equipment more readily available than ever, the ability to create music from nothing is right at our fingertips. Whether their goal is to produce original music or learn how to work with other artists, our teachers guide students with a personalized program that covers technical skills, from recording to mixing and mastering.
Student Mentorship
We believe that sharing your passion and skills with the world is the true culmination of a musical education.
At SoundLife, Student Mentorship is the ultimate goal of a fully realized musical experience. Our students have performed all over Los Angeles and surrounding communities, and have helped younger players feel inspired and confident enough to take the stage.
