SoundLife Socials are all about bringing students together in a fun, low-pressure environment where the real magic happens. When kids connect, collaborate, and create music as a group, their skills grow faster—and their confidence skyrockets.
Led by our team of professional, gigging musicians, SoundLife Socials take place in group settings at top-tier rehearsal studios across Los Angeles. These sessions give students the chance to meet other players, try out what they’ve been learning, and just have a blast making music together. Along the way, they build real-world skills like listening, improvising, and creating on the fly—just like the pros do.
SoundLife Socials are open to all current students—and their friends—so it’s the perfect opportunity to jump in, hang out, and experience what our community is all about. Come play.

How Does it Work (FAQ)
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely. Music is better with friends. Just make sure everyone is registered—spots fill up fast, and we want to make sure every player has a place to jump in.
Who should attend?
SoundLife Socials are perfect for any student ready to take their playing beyond solo practice. If you’re preparing for a Student Showcase, this is where things really start to come together. It’s also a great space to meet other musicians, start a band, or bring a friend who’s curious about getting into music.
Will there be food?
Of course—pizza and drinks are on us. Come hungry.
Is there parking?
Yes, parking is available at the rehearsal location.
Should parents stay?
Totally up to you. These sessions can get loud (in the best way), so parents are welcome to hang in the room, drop off and come back, or relax in the waiting area with coffee and snacks.
How much does it cost?
SoundLife Socials are completely free for registered participants.
Can I just show up?
We wish we could say yes—but space is limited. Registration is required to guarantee your spot. If you’re last-minute, give us a call the morning of and we’ll do our best to fit you in.
What should I prepare?
We build each session around what students are excited about—songs, styles, and showcase prep. You don’t need to know a full song. Bring what you’ve got, jump in, and we’ll take it from there.
